Not all transplants using the single-graft extraction technique (FUE) are alike. In fact, there are huge differences in how your precious hair follicles are extracted. Two factors are decisive: first, in whose hands the extraction of the grafts lies, and second, which technical aids are used to extract the grafts from the donor area at the back of the head. And this is exactly where the wheat is separated from the chaff among hair transplant providers.
At Hair Doctors, FUE hair transplants have always been carried out only by the best teams – teams who have proven themselves over many years for the higher technical demands of a transplant using the FUE technique and have received further training accordingly.

But now we are adding the ultimate highlight: the Hair Doctors FUEplus method. For the first time, it is possible to reduce the traces of a conventional FUE extraction so much that this new technique deserves a name of its own: Hair Doctors FUEplus.
For Hair Doctors FUEplus hair transplants, we use new semi-automatic hollow drills and even more delicate fine instruments to harvest the grafts with as little transection as possible. With this ultimate extraction technique, we achieve several decisive advantages:
The skin surface affected during extraction is reduced by up to 40%. Where 20 cm² used to be affected, it is now only 12 cm². A real quantum leap!
Any micro-scars are minimised and can hardly be distinguished from natural skin pores.
The skin tissue remains much more elastic and has a better blood supply. In FUE hair transplants, undesirable shock loss effects* fall dramatically, and later densification procedures or follow-up treatments can cover larger areas – e.g. with a significantly higher number of grafts – and be carried out much less noticeably.
*Shock loss is the temporary – in some cases also permanent – loss of natural hair in the donor area.

- As standard, we carry out a hair therapy using your own blood as part of the treatment. Scientific studies supported by the world association of hair surgeons, the ISHRS, have found that injecting the patient’s own enriched blood can reduce shock loss in the recipient area by up to 20% and significantly accelerates and strengthens the growth of the freshly implanted grafts.
- While the extracted grafts are outside the body, they are preserved in the latest generation of our special growth solution. Studies have shown that keeping them moist in it can significantly increase the survival time of the hair follicles – by a factor of up to 2.
